88Yr old Beji Caid Essebsi wins Presidential elections in Tunisia

From my research, this is probably the newly oldest president to be elected into office. Lol! You see, age is not a factor, it is the peoples decision that factors winning, I mean a genuinely fair electoral process. Also, its never too late achieve your dream.

Tunisian politician, Beji Caid Essebsi has been named the winner of the country’s first free presidential poll.

The 88-year-old Essebsi won 55.68% of the votes in the elections which held on Sunday, December 21, to defeat caretaker President Moncef Marzouki  who garnered 44.32% of the votes. The election results were announced on Monday, December 22, by the head of the electoral commission, Chafik Sarsar.

Essebsi, a veteran who previously served under President Zine el-Abedine Ben Ali, urged all Tunisians to "work together" for stability.
This is the first time that Tunisians have been able to vote freely for a president since gaining independence from France in 1956.
